Jason Ginsberg and Mandy Chan are friends, husband and wife, wandering travellers, enthusiastic wine lovers, amateur cooks and the founders of Ginsberg+Chan.

Over the years, we have been inspired many times over by people who have been able to create a life for themselves while actualizing their dreams.   In our attempt to do so we packed our bags, moved our young family to Hong Kong and started Ginsberg+Chan, Wine Merchants Asia.

With Ginsberg+Chan, we hope to bring to Hong Kong a constant list of wines that reflect an enviable cellar full of collectables with good provenance.  We hope that every time you check out our list you’ll discover something that’s intriguing and exciting.

As online retailers we embrace the spirit of a traditional wine boutique where our customers get a real sense of our shop’s identity and the people who run them.

We work with a great network of people that allows us to supply rare and distinctive wines at a fair price and we often acquire whole collections from private individuals who have kept their wines with great care.  All wines listed are company stock however we do have some consignments from our customers who have chosen to sell their wines with us.

Hong Kong is a hot place and transporting wine is a big concern.  To safeguard the quality of the wines we sell, we work with eProvenance to track the temperatures of our wines during their trip to us.  When they arrive in Hong Kong we store them in a state-of-the-art storage facility.  This all means that when you buy your wines from us, they have had the best quality of care.
